How to get to the conference:
The hotel is situated less than 5 minutes walk from New
Street Station - the main station in the centre of
Birmingham.
Birmingham airport is situated 10 miles (16km) east of the
city centre. The easiest way to get to the city centre is
by train (cheaper and faster than taxi or bus). On leaving
the airport get the Rail - Air link and buy a single
(£2.50) or anytime return (£4.20) to New Street Station.
Trains run every 10 minutes and take 12 to 16 minutes.
When you get to Birmingham New Street go out the main
exit, walk straight ahead but bear to the right. Turn
right down Smallbrook Queensway – and the hotel is 300m on

Travelling by car: The Holiday Inn is just off Smallbrook
Queensway up Hill St. There are four car parks within 100m
of the hotel but all are quite expensive (£14 a day on
average). Details of cheaper car parking will be posted.
